Show: Holiday Art Underground

This year I was invited to join Betsy Bowen's Holiday Art Underground at the Old Playhouse in Grand Marais, MN.
I submitted four large (20"x30") canvas prints and they were all accepted to be on exhibit. Three are prints from the 2006 calendar and one is an incredible shot of a male and a female butterfly just getting ready to take off.
You can visit the exhibit from Friday, December 1st through Saturday, January 6th, 2007.

Grand Marais is a great town to relax in and has a very large artist community. Incredible views, great winter snow and great summer hiking...
In the summer check out the Angry Trout Cafe for great food and fresh fish every day! Unfortunately, they close for the winter season.
All year round you can enjoy great local microbrews, live music and wholesome food at the Gunflint Tavern on the main drag in town.

The Inside Out Band

After having so much fun last week -- I thought I'd stop into Monty's after my wedding rece
ption on Saturday the 7th and see who was playing.
It turned out to be the Inside Out Band.
I shot their last set from around 12:30am until quarter-till-two.

Coming home from a wedding shoot last weekend I stopped into the bar a block from my house
to have a beer.
There was a really awesome hard rock band playing called Full Tilt. They had spot on Skyny
rd and ZZ Top covers among other great rockers... so I thought I'd shoot some photos of the
m... with their permission, of course.

Latest Wedding Photos Available to View

The rain didn't stop Kari & Jeff's great June 17th, 2006 wedding celebration on the shore of Lake Minnetonka in Excelsior, Minnesota.
The bride's mom said Kari had pretty much given up hope on finding a wedding photographer that would work within the time frame and cost she had budgeted. Then in late May she ran across my website...
The rain did not deter us from getting a great batch of shots. Everybody kept in good spirits and blaze orange sunset at the end of the evening could not be beat.
FOUR days after their wedding, all 1209 wedding photos have been run through an automatic touch-up/enhancement program and organized by specific portions of the wedding.
The photos are now available for the guests, family & wedding party to view and order prints on my website at REASONABLE prices.
Once the couple receives their photos on CD or DVD they can make prints for any guests, friends and/or family they choose.
Tomorrow Jeff & Kari's 3 DVDs containing 1209 photos will be shipped to their home.
In my contract I guarantee two week turn around on all of my wedding and engagement shoots. All my customers (who I will more than happily put you in touch with) will attest to this.
You will not find the "my wedding was in May and now it's September and I'm still waiting for my photos" sob story from my customers and I'm very proud of that.

Photography Workshop offered in June

I will be offering an three hour Introduction to Composition workshop on June 20th from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
I am keeping the workshop attendance to no more than six people so that quality time can be spent with each attendant.

Ryan Sinn prefers to describe himself as a "visual storyteller of life experiences". His newest collection of photographs proves just that. This month Sinn released an 18 month calendar for 2006/2007 featuring 18 of his most esteemed photographs. The images depict astounding scenery and landscapes encompassing all four seasons throughout Minnesota.
